Perfume Parlour
Leicester
Best for a huge catalogue of openly-declared designer smell-alikes, plus genuine Arabian houses
Perfume Parlour is the UK's best-known dupe house, and it has never pretended otherwise. Trading since 2004 (as AIM8 Limited, company number 07637159, Leicester), its own About page calls it a pioneer of perfume clones, dupes and smell-alike fragrances, and its disclaimer states plainly that it has no affiliation with the designer brands its scents are compared to. It was even named in a 2010 Independent feature on the smell-alike industry, which described its use of gas-liquid chromatography to analyse and imitate designer formulas. So be clear on what you are buying: these are its own interpretations, sold as oils, eau de parfums and extraits across a catalogue of more than two and a half thousand, not the original designer fragrance. Alongside the clones it also stocks genuine Arabian houses like Lattafa, Afnan and Ard Al Zaafaran. It holds an Excellent Trustpilot rating around 4.5 out of 5, and shipping is a flat £4 under £50, free above it. The one thing to read before ordering is the returns policy: there is a 30-day window, but a 20 percent restocking fee applies and opened Arabian-collection items are non-returnable. Best for exploring designer-adjacent scents cheaply, with no illusions about what is in the bottle.
