4160 Tuesdays is an indie perfume house first and a teaching studio second, and that is exactly why its workshops carry more weight than most gift-experience sessions. Sarah McCartney has been hand-making fragrances since 2010 and teaches from the brand's own working studio at 42A Raynham Road in Hammersmith, west London. The entry point is the One Day Perfume Making Course (around £200), a hands-on, beginner-friendly day where you explore materials and make a signature perfume to take home.
