Agustí Vidal
Vidal explicitly explores the relationship between music and scent, drawing on his training in piano, composition and conducting. About
Agustí Vidal is a Spanish perfumer and trained chemist based in Catalonia. According to his official biography, he holds a BSc in Chemistry and began his training as a perfumer in 1979, dedicating his entire professional career since then to perfume creation. His academic background also includes studies in piano, composition and conducting, which led him to work in both perfumery and music. Since 1984 he has been the conductor of the Polifònica de Granollers choir. His company, “Agustí Vidal. Perfumista”, founded in 2009 and headquartered in Bigues i Riells (Barcelona), offers consultancy in perfume creation, evaluation and tailor‑made perfumery seminars, as well as lectures and sensory experiences linking music and perfumery.
