Eau de Parfum
Liis
Through Liis, Sullivan focuses on light, sheer, long-lasting eau de parfums described as “second-skin” scents. The collection emphasizes clean formulations without phthalates, preservatives or unnecessary synthetics, and gender-neutral compositions rooted in memory and emotion. A highlighted scent, Lucienne, showcases her preference for bright, transparent structures built around pomelo, lemon zest, magnolia, marine accords and a salty-citrus glow.
Alissa Sullivan is an American perfume professional and co-founder of the California-based niche fragrance brand Liis, which she launched in 2020 with Leslie Hendin. Raised in Marin County, California, she later completed formal perfumery studies at ISIPCA in Versailles, France. Before founding Liis, Sullivan worked in product development for niche fragrance houses including Penhaligon’s London and L’Artisan Parfumeur, as well as for beauty brand Hourglass. At Liis she oversees fragrance creation and product development, collaborating with perfumer Jérôme Epinette on launches such as the 2024 release In This World. Liis is known for gender-neutral, “second-skin” scents formulated with clean ingredients and produced in California.
