Ane Ayo is a Paris-based perfumer known for her multicultural background and creative versatility. Growing up in Bilbao, Spain, she later studied in the United Kingdom and developed her perfumery career in France. Ane originally pursued pharmacy before a fateful newspaper article about master perfumer Alberto Morillas inspired her to change direction. After completing an MBA in perfume and fashion management, she honed her olfactory skills at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery. Ane Ayo's career is marked by her openness to inspiration from travel, art, and diverse cultures, particularly Japanese aesthetics and the natural beauty of Menorca. She is passionate about the interplay of painting, fashion, dance, and color in her work. Currently working for dsm-firmenich, with experience at Mane, she has crafted fragrances for a wide array of major brands, including Issey Miyake, Jean Paul Gaultier, Chloé, and Yves Rocher. Her portfolio showcases a contemporary approach with a strong sense of storytelling and design.
