About
Angela Margaret Flanders (1927-2016) was an English artisan perfumer who founded the London-based Angela Flanders perfume brand. The Perfume Society says she studied fashion at Manchester College of Art, later worked as an interior designer, and that writing Aromatics (Mitchell Beazley, 1995) led her into a second career in perfumery. Her scent Precious One won Fragrance Foundation Best New Independent Fragrance in 2012; Figre Noire was nominated for a FiFi Award in 2006.
