Arina P. Franzén is a Swedish independent perfumer and founder of two houses: Dark Tales - Artisan Perfumery and her eponymous brand Arina Franzén | Botanical Perfumery. She has been working in niche perfumery since 2019 and is a certified natural perfumer, having trained through the Natural Perfume Academy under master perfumer Justine Crane. Before perfumery she worked as a professional writer-biographer and holds degrees in history and psychology. Based in Uppsala, Sweden, she operates a boutique and workshop space on Kungsgatan 66, where she offers perfume-making workshops and bespoke creations. Her work with Dark Tales earned her the Best Perfumer 2024 award at Stockholm Beauty Week, recognized by the Natural Perfume Academy.
