About
Ashley Eden Kessler is a Los Angeles-based independent perfumer and owner of Studio Sentir, a scent lab she founded in 2015 that creates custom private-label fragrances for fine fragrance, personal care, atmospherics and candles. She serves as Director of Education at The Institute for Art and Olfaction in Los Angeles, where she leads classes and online workshops on topics such as perfume composition, rose and jasmine accords, amber accords, and marine accords. In 2010 she moved to Grasse, France for formal perfumery training at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery (ASFO), completing a creative perfumery program in 2010-2011. Before launching her own studio she began in the field as an apprentice to a niche perfumer. She has also appeared as a guest on the podcast "It's Just Perfume" to discuss aroma chemicals such as Iso E Super and Ambroxan.
