About
Beatriz Hidalgo is a Spanish perfumer at Iberchem, based in Murcia, Spain, where she has worked since 2012. She joined Iberchem as a laboratory analyst in October 2012 and, after completing the company’s IRIS internal perfumery training program, became a perfumer in June 2015. She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad de Murcia. At Iberchem she focuses mainly on functional fragrances for fabric care products and has created numerous scents for major consumer brands worldwide. In October 2024, her fragrance “Mauerpark” won the Fragrance Composition category at the SEPAWA “Streets of Berlin” Call for Fragrance competition in Berlin.
