Raised in Paris, Jovanovic was deeply influenced by the evocative power of scent from an early age, notably the perfume worn by his mother. He pursued studies in physics and chemistry at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie before enrolling at ISIPCA, the renowned French perfumery school, where he graduated with top honors. Jovanovic began his professional career at IFF in New York, where he spent two decades working between Paris and New York, crafting fragrances for leading international brands. In 2021, he joined dsm-firmenich, continuing his creative journey as a senior perfumer. Jovanovic is celebrated for his ability to bridge the American and French perfumery worlds, delivering compositions for some of the industry's most respected houses. His creations, which include bestsellers and niche masterpieces, are often recognized for their clarity, essentialism, and emotional resonance.
