Caroline Sabas is a French perfumer born in Cannes and raised in Grasse. She studied perfumery at ISIPCA in Versailles and completed an apprenticeship at Chanel in Paris before moving to New York about 21 years ago. She began her career at Fragrance Resources in New York in 1997, then joined Givaudan’s New York fine fragrance division in 2003, where she is now a senior perfumer. Sabas has created or co-created fragrances such as Oud Musc for Narciso Rodriguez, You or Someone Like You for Etat Libre d’Orange, Santal Musc for Narciso Rodriguez, Reb’l Fleur for Rihanna, Commodity Vetiver, and Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers Summer Air.
