Chester Gibs was born in the Netherlands in 1969 and graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam in 2002, where he focused on painting and drawing. He is presented by Perfume Lounge as the creative mind behind Walk with Me, his first fragrance, created in collaboration with Amsterdam niche house Annindriya. NewNiche also identifies him as a perfumer who is self-taught and mentored by Christophe Laudamiel in New York.
