Pretty in Pink
Eau de Parfum
Pell Wall Perfumes
Known for complex, often animalic niche compositions using both natural materials and modern synthetics, as seen in Zoologist Beaver and Elephant.[1][7] His work frequently explored realistic and sometimes challenging facets of nature, while maintaining balance suitable for artistic niche perfumery.[1][7][9]
Chris Bartlett was a British perfumer and founder of the UK-based perfume house and ingredient supplier Pell Wall, which he established after a career in the fragrance industry.[5][3] Before going independent he worked for aroma companies including Stafford Allen, Naarden International and RC Treatt, gaining experience in both essential oils and aroma chemicals.[3][5] As an independent perfumer he created fragrances for niche brands such as Zoologist Perfumes, while also teaching and supplying materials to artisan perfumers through Pell Wall.[1][5][9] Bartlett died suddenly of a heart attack on 9 July (year not publicly specified) while still actively involved in perfumery.[3][4]
