Edgar Pastor is a Chilean chemical engineer and perfumer, trained as a chemical engineer in Chile before studying perfumery at the University of Barcelona. He entered the fragrance industry at 18, joining the Swiss fragrance house Cramer, where he learned the technical foundations of scent creation. Pastor later founded his own brand, Pastor Fragrances, a niche Chilean house through which he develops original scents, including compositions inspired by local classics such as Melvin (melon with wine) and Ramazzotti. He is active as both perfumer and brand owner, often presenting new launches and discussing his work on Chilean media and podcasts.
