Giovanni Varon is identified as a French perfumer associated with Bruno Acampora. Fragrantica credits him as the nose behind Musc - Eau de Parfum, Iranzol, Jasmin T, Prima T, Blu, Seplasia and Sballo, including several Bruno Acampora launches from 1975 and 1977. The official Bruno Acampora site states that Varon met founder Bruno Acampora in Saint-Tropez and introduced him to the secrets of artisanal perfumery; the collaboration produced Musc, the first fragrance in the Acampora line.
