About

Irina Burlakova is a Latvian perfumer born in Riga. She studied chemistry in Paris and then completed a perfumery program at ISIPCA in Versailles (2002-2003), followed by training at the Givaudan Perfumery School. She began her career with Givaudan’s Fine Fragrance team in Paris and later New York, and subsequently worked at Mane in New York and in Hong Kong. Her compositions have included work for brands such as Bath & Body Works, Victoria’s Secret, NEST and Ralph Lauren. In 2015 she received a FiFi Award for her work on Banana Republic Modern Man. As of 2024 she serves as a perfumer / principal perfumer with Swiss fragrance house LUZI.
