Jakub Pietrynka is an independent Polish perfumer and the founder and in‑house nose of the niche brand JMP Artisan Perfumes, established in 2019. He is self‑taught and has been interested in smells since childhood, later leaving a tourism career to focus on perfume creation. Pietrynka comes from Zamość and has lived in Kraków for over a decade, where he develops his artisan fragrances. In 2023 he composed the city fragrance "Kraków", a perfume extract launched as part of the Kraków Story project and sold through local niche perfumeries and selected international retailers.
