James Krivda is a highly accomplished American perfumer, currently holding the title of Senior Perfumer and Vice President at Mane, a leading global fragrance and flavor company. Born and raised near Philadelphia, Krivda began his fragrance journey nearly three decades ago, studying perfumery under the renowned French master perfumer Elie Roger at Firmenich. After completing his education, he began his career at Fragrance Resources before moving to Mane in 2008. Krivda’s versatile expertise spans a wide range of categories, from air care and personal care to fine fragrance, although he now primarily focuses on fine fragrances at Mane's New York Creative Studio. He is celebrated for his innovative and high-quality creations that resonate with a broad spectrum of consumers. Throughout his career, Krivda has developed fragrances for some of the world's most recognizable brands, including Alfred Sung, Bijan, Britney Spears, Brooks Brothers, Celine Dion, Elizabeth Arden, Jennifer Lopez, Paris Hilton, Ralph Lauren, and Tommy Hilfiger. In addition to his creative work, he is an active member of the American Society of Perfumers, having served as its president in 2001.
