Fouquet's identifies boronia and freesia among her preferred natural flowers, and ambroxan and cepionate among her preferred synthetic materials. Her Berdoues creations also use region-specific materials such as Assam tea, Mysore sandalwood, Brazilian tonka bean and Paraguayan petitgrain.
About
Jennifer Riley is a New Zealand perfumer born in the Auckland region who discovered perfumery at age 18. She trained at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery and worked at Créations et Parfums from 2006 to 2017. Riley later worked in the Nice region of France and is credited with creating Assam of India and Selva do Brazil for Berdoues, as well as Believes in You for IKKS in 2013. Fouquet's describes her preferred style as floral and fruity, with favorite materials including boronia, freesia, ambroxan and cepionate.
