Givenchy
Known for weaving a subtle vintage fine-perfumery touch into contemporary compositions, Lerioux Patris often favors rich, high-quality raw materials and a deliberately unhurried, craft-focused creation process, as reflected in her work for brands like Acqua di Parma, Jo Malone, L’Atelier Givenchy and L.T. Piver.[2][4][5]
Joëlle Lerioux Patris is a French perfumer with over 20 years of international experience. She graduated from ISIPCA in 1998, also earning a degree from the Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, before joining the internal perfumery school of Mane as a junior perfumer. In 2001 she moved abroad to work in China and Indonesia, later returning to France around 2012 to compose fragrances for Expressions Parfumées and Fragrance Resources/IFF. In January 2019 she founded her own independent company and brand, Le Parfumeur Français, based in Peymeinade near Grasse, where she runs her own laboratory and creates exclusive and bespoke fragrances for brands and private clients. Among her notable compositions are Colonia Mirra for Acqua di Parma, Oud & Bergamot Rich Extract for Jo Malone, Rose Ardente and Encens Divin for L’Atelier Givenchy, La Rose Gothique for Le Snob, and the 2022 reformulation of Eau des Princes for L.T. Piver.
