Julia Rodríguez Pastor is a Spanish perfumer based in Barcelona, where she works as a Senior Perfumer at Eurofragance. She describes her creative process as similar to photography, using fragrance to capture specific moments in time and memory once she understands a brand and its brief. Over the past years she has concentrated on the universe of Middle Eastern, often called oriental, fragrances and frequently travels to Dubai and the surrounding region to immerse herself in local cultures and deepen her knowledge of their perfumery traditions.
