Julien Rasquinet is a highly regarded French perfumer celebrated for his distinctive and emotive approach to fragrance creation. Initially pursuing creative arts, Julien's journey into perfumery was catalyzed by the intuition of legendary perfumer Pierre Bourdon, who became his mentor. Under Bourdon's guidance, Julien underwent three years of intensive training, absorbing both technique and philosophy. Further enriching his craft, he worked with Christine Nagel for two years. Embracing an entrepreneurial spirit, Julien later established his own perfume company, working independently for four years and collaborating with a wide array of international brands. His portfolio spans niche and luxury houses, with creations for Amouage, Creed, Masque Milano, BDK Parfums, Naomi Goodsir, and many others. Julien's work integrates personal olfactive memories and narrative storytelling, often drawing inspiration from encounters, places, and cultural experiences-most notably his deep affinity for Middle Eastern perfumery. As of September 2023, he has been a Senior Perfumer at CPL Aromas, continuing to leave a profound mark on the industry through both commercial and artistic fragrances.
