Lyn Harris is a celebrated British independent perfumer known for her innovative contributions to modern perfumery. Raised amidst the natural beauty of Yorkshire and Scotland, Harris's early experiences with the British countryside deeply influenced her creative ethos, leading her to prioritize natural ingredients and the evocation of vivid sensory landscapes in her work. Driven by a passion for scent, she moved to Paris to study under Monique Schlienger and further refined her craft at Robertet, the esteemed Grasse-based fragrance house. In 2000, Harris co-founded Miller Harris, building a brand recognized for its distinctive, evocative compositions such as L'Air de Rien, Citron Citron, and Feuilles de Tabac. After Miller Harris's expansion and eventual investment by Neo Capital, Harris shifted her focus, founding Perfumer H in 2015, a brand that showcases her artistry and independent spirit. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with prominent brands including Claus Porto, Fresh, LEGENDÄR, Maison Trudon, Solange Azagury-Partridge, and Vyrao.
