About
Mahsam Raza is a Dubai-born perfumer and entrepreneur who founded The Dua Brand, an independent niche fragrance house, in 2015-2016. After training in perfumery in Dubai, he moved operations to Orange County, California, where he serves as founder and CEO. Dua is widely known for high-concentration extrait fragrances, many of which are GC-MS based recreations of luxury scents, produced with chemists at a French facility and then hand-blended by Raza. He openly positions the brand as offering affordable interpretations of expensive perfumes, describing himself as a "Robinhood of fragrances" and stating, "We wanted to bring a collection of fragrances inspired by the most expensive brands out there and make them affordable for people across the world."
