About
María Fructuoso (María Fructuoso Balsalobre) is a Spanish perfumer and senior perfumer at Iberchem SENSA, the creative division of the Givaudan-owned fragrance house Iberchem. Her entry into professional perfumery came via the Mouillette d’Argent competition, where she was a finalist in its sixth edition, a result that helped her gain access to one of Spain’s key fragrance houses. At Iberchem she co-created the Harry Potter collection fragrances Ambition and Passion for a licensed line, working alongside fellow perfumer Sandra Lucas. Fructuoso has also been named as a collaborating perfumer for Voce di Sensi’s Emotional Geometry collection, joining Luz Vaquero, Sandra Lucas and Beatriz Hidalgo on that project.
