Mathieu Nardin is a French perfumer from Grasse, raised in a family of perfumers and steeped in the tradition of working with natural materials from an early age. His formative experiences picking jasmine and rose in his grandparents' fields fostered a deep appreciation for nature's raw beauty, which he later refined through a formal education at the prestigious ISIPCA perfume school. Nardin began his career at Robertet, where he honed his creative and olfactory skills, before moving to Mane, a global fragrance company. As part of a new generation of perfumers, he is celebrated for seamlessly blending traditional techniques and natural ingredients with modern, innovative approaches. Nardin's portfolio spans a wide range of brands, from niche to mainstream, including collaborations with Miller Harris, Etro, Houbigant, By Kilian, Goutal, Molinard, Nobile 1942, and Xerjoff, among many others. His work is characterized by versatility and a sensitivity to the stories and identities of the brands he partners with. Nardin's love of travel and daily life experiences serve as continual sources of inspiration, allowing him to craft fragrances that evoke emotion and engage the senses.
