About
Maxim Bortnikov is a Thai-based perfumer and founder of the niche brand Maksim Perfume, whose fragrances are described as artisanal compositions built around high-quality natural materials. He is the son of perfumer Dmitry Bortnikov (Bortnikoff) and trained with his father for several years, later undertaking formal perfumery training in Bangkok before launching his own work. His first release was Le Voyage Oriental for the House of Bortnikoff, presented as his debut composition. He now creates the full Maksim Perfume line from Thailand, with his name explicitly credited as the author of the brand’s scents.
