China Born 0

Sources describe Meng Gu’s work as grounded in classical French training at ISIPCA, applied to niche creations for Chinese consumers. Her compositions often explore floral and chypre structures enriched with spices and woods, as seen in Poet 竹涧温酒, which combines citrus and pink pepper with rose, patchouli, oakmoss, vetiver and musk in a modern chypre floral frame. She frequently works with natural materials through Robertet’s palette, aligning French perfumery techniques with contemporary Chinese tastes.
