Francesca Dell'Oro
Independent Italian perfumer with a strong link to Florence, Marin often creates for fashion, hospitality and design houses, moving fluidly between home fragrance and personal perfume.[1][3][7] His portfolio ranges from wine-estate candles for Castello di Ama to niche extraits for Michele Marin Essenza and characterful compositions such as Amytis (Amina Mundi), Else (Francesca dell’Oro) and the ExtraVirgo trilogy Animal Café, Sacred Tobaco and Cacao Ritual, suggesting a preference for atmospheric, narrative-driven scents.[3]
Michele Marin is an Italian perfumer originally from Verona and based in Florence for over 18 years.[7] He began formal training in Italy with Mouillettes & Co and then studied composition and formulation at Cinquième Sens in Paris.[fragrantica_hint] Early in his career he worked with Etro and later served as Retail Manager of Olfattorio - Bar à Parfums in Florence, where he also handled sales training, marketing and events.[fragrantica_hint] In 2010 he created a first triptych of perfumed candles for Tuscan wine estate Castello di Ama, later expanding this into a full home fragrance line.[fragrantica_hint][1] In 2013 he founded his own olfactory creation brand Infragranti Parfumeur, collaborating with fashion, hospitality and design clients including Roy Roger’s, Hotel Villa Cheta Elite and Stefano Bemer.[fragrantica_hint][1] From 2014 he began tailoring fine fragrances and has since composed scents for brands such as Roy Roger’s, FDO, Venezia 1920, Soul Couture, Anima Mundi and Castello di Ama, with recent successes including Amytis for Amina Mundi, Else for Francesca dell’Oro and the ExtraVirgo trilogy Animal Café, Sacred Tobaco and Cacao Ritual.[3][1] He is also founder, owner and in‑house perfumer of the niche line Michele Marin Essenza.[2]
