Thailand Born 0 SIAM 1928

Known for narrative, heritage-driven compositions that draw on Thai cultural history and mythology, often inspired by poetry and folklore. His fragrances for SIAM 1928 and Voyager frequently use distinctive ceramic packaging and emphasize storytelling, treating scent as cultural expression rather than a conventional commercial product.

About

Nutt Wesshasartar is a Thai perfumer and fourth‑generation fragrance maker whose family has crafted traditional Thai perfumes since 1928, notably Nam-Ob Prung Chaokhun, created for the royal household of King Rama IV. He founded the niche brand SIAM 1928 in 2019 to bring this heritage to a global audience, translating Thai myths, poetry and stories into contemporary artisan fragrances often presented in ceramic bottles. Working independently, he also operates the Voyager fragrance line, further exploring narrative, culture-driven compositions. His perfume Mekha Aranya for SIAM 1928 received international recognition when it won the Art & Olfaction Award in the Artisan category in 2025.
