Olivier Creed is a renowned fragrance entrepreneur and sixth-generation perfumer at the helm of the House of Creed, a storied family business with deep roots in French perfumery. Born in Nice, France, during the Italian occupation of World War II, Olivier was surrounded by the art and tradition of fragrance from an early age. His education extended beyond perfumery, with studies in art and painting at the esteemed École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and an influential mentorship with painter Georges Braque. This artistic foundation shaped his unique approach to scent creation, blending the disciplines of visual art and olfaction. At just 18, encouraged by his father and grandmother, Olivier assumed leadership of Creed, steering the house from a niche, bespoke atelier to a globally recognized brand. He is celebrated for revitalizing Creed's legacy through a dedication to natural ingredients and artisanal techniques, frequently traveling the world to source the finest raw materials. Today, Olivier works alongside his son, Erwin Creed, continuing the tradition of producing artisanal fragrances at their factory in Fontainebleau, France.
