O Boticário
According to Revista Pesquisa Fapesp, Paget has worked with Amazonian botanicals such as rosewood leaf oil, formulating a men’s cologne for Chamma da Amazônia with 5% rosewood leaf oil blended with around 37 other ingredients including thyme, nutmeg and geranium. This illustrates a style that incorporates Brazilian and Amazonian naturals into complex compositions for the Latin American market.
Olivier Paget is a French-trained perfumer who studied perfumery at ISIPCA in Versailles from 1987 to 1989, after completing a DEUG B in natural sciences at the Université de Nantes (1984-1987). In an interview with Revista Pesquisa Fapesp, he is cited as a perfume maker at Mane who developed a men’s cologne for the Belém company Chamma da Amazônia, containing 5% rosewood leaf oil combined with about 37 other components including thyme, nutmeg and geranium. Later he served as Senior Perfumer at drom fragrances in São Paulo (2016-2018), Senior Perfumer at CRAMER in Chile and Brazil (2019-2025), and became Master Perfumer at Natura &Co in 2025, based in Cajamar, São Paulo.
