Paul Kiler is an American independent perfumer based in California and the owner and chief perfumer of PK Perfumes, a fragrance house he has operated since 2004 according to his LinkedIn profile. In an interview with Zoologist Perfumes he notes that he began studying perfumery seriously around 2005, using online resources and books, and that he later launched his own PK Perfumes line in 2012. Kiler is self-taught and also works as a freelance perfumer, creating custom scents for other brands. His work has received significant recognition: PK Perfumes states that the brand has won more than 30 awards, and Art and Olfaction documentation cited on LinkedIn records that he received the Aftel Award for Handmade Perfume at the 2019 Art and Olfaction Awards.
