Philippine Courtiere is a French Senior Perfumer at Symrise, based between Paris and Dubai. A Parisian lawyer by original training (Master's in Law / International Administration, 2008), she made a 180-degree career switch into perfumery, trained at the Firmenich perfumer school, and was mentored by Francis Kurkdjian, Michel Almairac and Jacques Cavallier. Named perfumer in 2014, she relocated to Dubai to immerse herself in Middle Eastern olfactive culture, returned to Paris in 2018, and joined Symrise in September 2021 as Senior Perfumer on the Dubai creative team. Her catalogue covers Western fine fragrance (Chloe Atelier des Fleurs Narcissus Poeticus, Goutal Rose Pompon with Camille Goutal), the booming Kayali / Huda Beauty axis (Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry | 48 with Gabriela Chelariu), and a deep run of Middle Eastern houses (Ajmal, Arabian Oud, Gissah, WIDIAN, Thameen, Emirates Pride Perfumes).
