Strong Asian and specifically Thai influences, with recurrent use of temple-style incense, regional florals, woods and spices. Known for avant-garde, sometimes deconstructive structures under Strangers and PRIN, alongside more classically European-leaning arrangements for certain clients.
About
Prin Lomros is a self-taught Thai perfumer and brand owner based in Bangkok. Originally trained in film, he completed a master's degree in film studies before turning fully to perfumery. During a trip to Grasse for the Cannes Film Festival, he attended short perfumery courses, then returned to Thailand to gain hands-on lab experience at The Perfumer's World in Bangkok. He later launched several niche houses, including Pryn Parfum, Strangers Parfumerie and Parfum Prissana, and in 2020 consolidated his work under the label PRIN. His compositions have been recognized by the Institute for Art and Olfaction, with Art and Olfaction Awards wins in 2017 and 2018, and he has also created fragrances for brands such as Zoologist Perfumes, Azman, Der Duft and The Fragrance Engineers. Strongly influenced by his film background and Asian heritage, he treats perfume as a narrative medium, often drawing on Thai cultural elements, incense and regional ingredients.
