About
Quest International was an Anglo-Dutch fragrance and flavour house headquartered in Naarden, Netherlands, with fragrance operations in Ashford, Kent. Founded in 1905 as N.V. Chemische Fabriek Naarden, it was acquired by Unilever in 1986 and rebranded Quest International in 1987 after merging with PPF International. ICI bought the business from Unilever in 1997, and Givaudan acquired Quest in March 2007, ending its existence as a separate company. Credits attributed to Quest on Fragrantica are the company-of-record, not an individual perfumer.
