About

Born in Nice in 1935 and raised in Barrême, Raymond Chaillan began his perfumery career at Antoine Chiris in Grasse in 1962, then moved to Roure Bertrand Dupont in Paris in 1969. He later served as Director of Perfumery Research at J&E Sozio in 1988 and as Director at Argeville in 1993. His credits include Yves Saint Laurent Pour Homme (1971) and Opium (1977).
