His credited Houbigant perfumes, Bois Dormant and Presence, are among the 17 Houbigant formulas the Osmotheque has reconstructed.
Raymond Kling was a perfumer for Houbigant, the house founded in Paris in 1775. Perfume Intelligence lists him as the creator of Bois Dormant, which Houbigant launched in 1925, and the Perfume Projects museum also credits him for it under the spelling Raymon Kling. The Osmotheque names Presence as a Kling creation. It says Jean Kerleo remade 17 lost Houbigant perfumes from original formulas given by the house's last co-owner, Antoine Javal, and Bois Dormant and Presence were among them. A writer at CaFleureBon also credits him with La Belle de Bois Dormant, dated 1934. No dates or place of birth were found.
