Ricardo Ramos is a Colombian-born, Granada-based independent perfumer and fashion designer working under his own house, Ricardo Ramos Perfumes de Autor, in Spain. According to the brand’s history, he was among the pioneers of artistic perfumery in Spain and began presenting his first creations to the public in Barcelona around 2004 using the term “perfumes de autor.” He is noted as the first perfumer of Hispanic American (Colombian) origin to establish himself as an independent creator of artistic perfumery in Europe in 2004. Ramos is also the creator of GranadAroma, described by his brand as the first international event for independent artistic perfumery in Spain. His perfumes are developed and hand-packaged in Granada, reflecting his ongoing presence and activity in the Andalusian artistic perfumery scene.
