Richard Herpin is a French perfumer born and raised in Cannes, France, in close proximity to the heart of the perfume industry. Immersed in an environment filled with antiques and the evocative scents of his father's shop, Herpin developed a refined aesthetic and a deep appreciation for olfactory beauty from an early age. His passion for perfumery was ignited by influential smelling sessions with master perfumer Pierre Bourdon, who became his mentor and played a pivotal role in shaping Herpin's unique approach to fragrance creation. Over a career spanning more than 25 years, Richard Herpin has composed acclaimed fragrances for an impressive array of prestigious brands, including Amouage, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Tom Ford, and Van Cleef & Arpels, among many others. He is also co-founder of the brand Precious Liquid, established with his wife Geo, which is dedicated to creating pure, fresh, and clean scents that express individuality and celebrate the diversity of God's creation. Herpin's portfolio demonstrates a remarkable versatility and an ability to craft perfumes that resonate emotionally with a wide range of people.
