Roja Dove is a renowned British perfumer whose influence in modern luxury perfumery is both profound and enduring. Born in Sussex in 1956, Dove began his journey in fragrance after leaving university, joining the legendary French house Guerlain in 1981. There he became the first non-family member to serve as Global Ambassador, earning the title 'Professeur de Parfum' during his nearly 20-year tenure. In 2004, Dove established the Roja Dove Haute Parfumerie at Harrods, creating a haven for rare and bespoke scents. His own house, Roja Parfums, has since become synonymous with opulent, complex compositions admired worldwide. Beyond his creations, Dove is a respected commentator and educator, having contributed to publications like Vogue and The Times and lectured at major institutions.
