About

Sarah Horowitz-Thran began creating custom fragrances in the late 1980s while working at Essence, an apothecary-style perfumery on Boston's Newbury Street. She founded Creative Scentualization in Los Angeles in 1994, later developing it into Sarah Horowitz Parfums, based in Southern California. Her documented creations and collaborations include Perfect Coconut Milk, fragrances for kai, IF and Bronzed for Ron Robinson, and limited-edition fragrances for Urban Decay. She also created the Perfect Perfumes and Perfumer's Palette lines.
