Sergio Momo is an Italian creative director and perfume brand founder born in Turin in 1964, where he earned a diploma in arts focused on graphics and design and later studied at the European Design Institute (Istituto Europeo di Design) in Turin. After working in London for various design and advertising agencies, he launched Xerjoff as an extension of his design business around 2004. In 2007, Momo and Dominique Salvo formally founded the Xerjoff fragrance house in Turin. He leads the artistic direction of Xerjoff and, under his leadership, the company revived the historic Italian perfume house Casamorati in 2009. Interviews and brand materials describe his long-standing family passion for perfume and note sandalwood as a recurring, personally significant note in his creations.
