Shadi Samra is a Syrian perfumer and scent expert based in the United Arab Emirates, with almost 20 years of experience in the fragrance industry. He worked as regional manager for Arabian Oud and sat on the board of Fragrance Foundation Arabia, serving as a judge for the Fragrance Oscars for eight years, giving him deep insight into the GCC perfume market. Samra is known for his strong expertise in oud, oud oil and oriental fragrances, and emphasizes the use of natural ingredients and sustainable sourcing in his work. He is the creator of several niche fragrances such as Wild Orange, Lovers, AM, PM and Siberian Rose, which are featured in his own lines and partner retailers. In 2023 he founded Scentify Perfumes in the UAE, offering comprehensive perfumery services and scent creation.
