Stéphane Jérôme Pernodet is a French independent perfumer and the creative force behind niche house Maison Magistral. Active since around 2009, he has focused his work on small-scale, high-concentration releases rather than trend-driven mainstream launches. He is also one of the two perfumers shaping the olfactory identity of Eau De Soie, collaborating closely with Ali Bachir-Cherif on that brand’s collection from the early 2020s onwards. Pernodet’s practice is characterized by warm, enveloping compositions and a fruit-forward palette developed over more than fifteen years in perfumery.
