Sultan Pasha

Sultan Pasha

United Kingdom Born 0 Zoologist Perfumes

Known for rich, complex attars that blend French classic perfumery influences with Middle Eastern and South Asian styles, often using high proportions of rare natural absolutes, resins and animalics. His work is strongly inspired by pre-1960s French extraits, vintage perfumery, and traditional incense-style accords, resulting in dense, highly textured compositions.

About

Sultan Pasha is a London-based independent perfumer and founder of Sultan Pasha Perfumes and Sultan Pasha Attars. He grew up between Bangladesh (Dhaka) and London and studied academic/organic chemistry, which led to working with perfume ingredients from 2012 onward. His first attar, Shadee, was created in 2012, marking the start of his own compositions. Before that he was a collector and seller of rare vintage perfumes under the name Scents Rarity on eBay. Pasha is known in the niche community for his traditional attar-making and heavy use of rare natural materials, running his brand from London and gaining recognition from reviewers such as Luca Turin. He has also created spray perfumes and collaborations, including Zoologist’s fragrance Sacred Scarab.
