About
Sylvain Cara is a French perfumer educated at ISIPCA in Versailles, one of the leading schools for perfumery and cosmetics. After graduation he worked at Le Labo in New York, where he further refined his skills in fine fragrance. He later trained under Patricia de Nicolaï in Paris, gaining experience within the Nicolai house. Cara became chief perfumer for Regalien Perfumes, creating luxury fragrances for the Istanbul-based brand while living and working in Istanbul. In parallel, he has also been described as composing artisanal perfumes himself in his own workshop in Narbonne, France.
