Tatyana (Tanya) Petrakov is a perfumer with over 30-40 years of experience in the fragrance industry. She is credited as the nose behind Amazing Grace by Philosophy, a floral fragrance for women launched in 1996. Petrakov has worked as chief perfumer in the Fragrance Lab at Flavor & Fragrance Specialties (FFS), bringing several decades of industry experience to that role. Later, she co‑founded the independent niche house Submissive Perfume with her daughter Sofia Petrakov, where she serves as the creative perfumer behind the brand’s fragrances, including compositions such as Submissive Sandalwood Vanilla Tonka Bean Musk.
