France Born 0

Belmas often highlights a balance of creativity, emotion and technical precision, influenced by his background in dance and music. His compositions are described as luminous and modern, with attention to texture and the evolution on skin. Public ingredient profiles list frequent use of amber, white florals such as tuberose and jasmine, ylang-ylang, coffee, tobacco accords and woody-musky notes like cashmeran, reflecting a contemporary yet sensuous floral-oriental palette.

About

Théo Belmas is a French perfumer originally from the South of France, whose early exposure to Mediterranean gardens and travel helped shape his interest in scent. He studied molecular chemistry in Toulouse, then entered the ICAP master’s program in Montpellier in 2013, focusing on cosmetics, flavours and fragrances while simultaneously training in contemporary dance at the Montpellier Conservatory. He began his professional perfumery career in Grasse, including internships at houses such as Galimard and later work at Concept Aromatique in Montauroux, where he created fragrances for Latin American, European and Middle Eastern markets. In 2019 he joined Symrise as a technical perfumer, specialising in reformulation and raw materials, and in 2023 he was promoted to perfumer at the Symrise creative center in Dubai. That same year he became the in‑house creator for the Czech niche brand Pigmentarium, for which he composed Oratorio, inspired by Prague.
