Tomoo Inaba

Japan Born 0 Zoologist Perfumes

Inaba’s work with Zoologist shows a taste for complex, story-driven constructions that blend classical structures with distinctive raw materials: Nightingale is built as a chypre-floral with Japanese inspirations, while Moth is characterized as a floral woody musk with powdery, smoky and honeyed facets. Interviews highlight his strong affinity for tuberose and other white florals, informed by visits to flower farms in India and Grasse, suggesting a particular sensitivity to natural floral materials and their cultivation.
